Warning! tis' in German. I do not speak German, I can barely speak my native language; ENGLISH. However, if you are a LEICAPHILE you will understand everything. I think it's terrific. It is titled, "leben für leica" at the top left of the GOOGLE VIDEO PAGE.... Sorry doesn't link you like I thought.

Enjoy,

To be short: the guy is a Leica tester. At the begining of the video, h is testing a lens.

Please tell me that these are prototypes, and not regular production.
Please!
If not, what chances Leica has to survive??

At one point the narrator says that Leica is the Rolls Royce of camera equipment.
Does that mean that it's gone from a great brand to an overpriced joke for those with more money than sense? <I kid, I kid>

Seriously though, very interesting video. It's great to see how serious they are about their optics. I'd love to see a translated version of this.

Scenes:
Camera tester, lens factory, business guy(?), camera show, body factory, lens design, lens testing, classic models, history.

You can see the Leica logo being engraved in a top place at 16:40.

Very interesting. Thanks for the link.

Sam, I think the business guy before the camera show scene is Andreas Kaufmann, Leica's CEO.
