The 0-Leica comes from Italy!

I knew these cameras existed, but now at Westlicht Auctions in Vienna an Italian Leica 0 seems to have been auctioned. Is this the answer of the question where the Leica 0 cameras, marketed by Leica, come from?

Does ayone knows what's happening here? Certainly Leica did take a good look at this one, mr. Head Bartender.

here is the link to the auction, there seem to be 31 of these replicas. They seem to have nothing to do with Leica. Not sure if they are operational, or dummies like the early Leitz replicas.

Anyone?

Rumour is Leica bought tooling from Alberico Arces' when starting to make model Null (2000) replicas .... :)
