Harry Patch, the last surviving soldier of those horrendous days - early last century, was burried today.....sleep well Harry.

RIP indeed.

It isn't just that he was a survivor of the Great War, but he was born in 1898. Sitting here and thinking about the changes that he has witnessed during his lifetime is mind boggling ...

He was already 5 years old when the Wright Brothers made their first flight!
