Hey all, Ive got a nice original Diana F (not the lomo re-release) and would love to have the chance to use flash to take photos. Ive been looking at getting one of the lomo flash adapters (http://shop.lomography.com/shop/main.php?cat=Diana&pro=dfa) but I have no idea if one will fit the original diana as lomo themselves admit that there cameras are not exactly the same. Can anyone tell me these gadgets work on the older type of camera?

Cheers

Hi, Those guys made it a little different. I don't know why, they counld sell as many adapters as the reissue cameras. Go to RADIO SHACK and get 2 banana plugs that fit into the little holes. Solder a pc cord (with the household end chopped off) to each wire of a banana plug and you're good there.

But, the timing is off a little on the Real Diana's so you are slightly robbed of some strobe power. There is a way to fix the timing by bending some tin inside ( I did it on my Hawlkeye also) but that's another post.

Hope tis helps!
