I bought a real nice Olympus 40mm f/1.4 Pen F Lens from a real nice guy around here and thought I'd share some photos I took tonight with it. It's a great little lens and seems to work well on the Olympus E-P1.

Most shots are wide open at f/1.4. I think the slowest I went was the flag at maybe around f/4. The lens isn't tack sharp wide open (more of that slight dreamy look in certain lighting), but is REALLY sharp by f/2.

I found your shots on DPreview last night, nice combo. I have a Pen FT with the 40/1.4, so is the equivilant focal length an 80/1.4 with the EP-1?

The EP-1 has my attention at the moment, great looking camera and it appears to produce some outstanding files, keep posting.

Amy, glad you like it. Nice first photos!

Yes, it's effective 80mm f/1.4 on micro 4/3 bodies.

The bokeh is just outstanding! Lovely indeed ... I bet b&w would be sweet. (hint ;) )
