I got myself a very handsome Pen FT with a FV prism and beautiful black finish from "digitalintrigue".
The idea right from the start, has been to use this camera as a multi pano tool.
My first attempt has not been 100% succesful, but not so bad either. I have used a Nikon adapter and the 25/2.8 Zeiss Distagon ZF, but it looks like the infinity could be not aligned properly - have to check on this. Also, the viewfinder shows much less than what ends up on film, so it has turned out, that my 30 Deg shift is insufficient - will try 35 Degrees next time.

Here are a couple of shots from my back yard...

The Pen FT is a SLR... once you convert the internal prism to the full mirror one, it is comparable to my Nikon FM3A.

So, you replaced the semi-silvered internal mirror with the fV mirror? Interesting, would make the finder brighter (though it does disable the meter). John

Digitalintrigue is doing these jobs, and he also paints the cameras... BTW, I have a silver Pen FT too many which would be a good candidate for this modification if you are interested....

Marek, nice backyard! One day I'd love to visit Monaco during the F1 weekend.

Replacing the mirror resulted in a 2 stop improvement in brightness compared to another FT, although many FTs have degraded mirrors so the improvement can be more like 3 or 4 stops. Since a lot of FT meters are dead anyway it's a nice upgrade.

I got a Pen F repainted black with white lettering from Digitalintrigue a while ago and I absolutely love it. You really couldn't tell the camera didn't come out of the factory like that.

Great "pano's". I have to load up some of my 1/2 frames and try something like this. I also like the quality of the Rollei Retro. Don't know if I can get it here in Vancouver.
My venerable Konica Autoreflex on a tripod should do it. Heavy though.

Not bad but one needs a tripod and a LF scanner.

Tom - I think that I've seen the Rollei Retro at Beau Photo.
