Voigtlander Vitomatic Lens, ft or mt

Simple question is the lens on a Vitmatic II CS graduated in ft or mt's, I thought they were all in ft but there is an M just before the readings start on the focus ring??

The accessory rangefinder that I have is in ft :bang:

I have a II (1958) scaled in feet. I also have a IIa (1960) scaled in metres. As the II CS is a later model I would assume it's metres.

Without checking, I think the highest value before infinity on the metre scale is 20 and on the feet scale is 60.
