A dealer out of Japan has just listed his first Fuji GF670 for sale.

The price is about $800 higher than retail.

Nope. SH-Photo (of Germany) is the same as Photo-Arsenal, or rather, the latter is the collectibles outlet of the former. I haven't ever heard of them having a Japanese partner. SK-Photo (from Japan, with a "K" rather than "H") has quite similar pricing, but so have gazillions of other Japanese rare camera stores, so that that is no indication of a connection.

SK photo's apparently based here in Japan/Chiba (Tokyo), with most of their stock apparently coming from China. They seem to have pretty good deals on normal leica stuff, but this is just crazy!!!! i can basically get the camera for 198 000 yen (2kusd) from many of the main big stores here.

Are they actually on the shelves in Tokyo?

SK photo's apparently based here in Japan/Chiba (Tokyo), with most of their stock apparently coming from China. They seem to have pretty good deals on normal leica stuff, but this is just crazy!!!! i can basically get the camera for 198 000 yen (2kusd) from many of the main big stores here.

Forty percent over retail is ridiculous.

If it was 10 or 15, I might go for it.
