Can anyone comment on the Zeiss Ikon viewfinder as it relates to eye relief? It's taken me a long time, I'm considering picking up a 0.58 M, because I wear eyeglasses. I was hoping to compare the Zeiss to the Leica M 0.58, but with the rumored effective price increase here in the states coming July 1, I will probably have to make a decision one way or the other before that time.

I only handled a prototype at a camera show, but it has the most viewable finder I've ever seen. With glasses, 35 mm frame lines were easily viewable & 28 without much trouble.

I was standing next to Huck at the Photo Plus Expo in NYC.

I too could see the 28mm framelines with my glasses.

Simply put, the viewfinder on the ZI is excellent.

Don't forget, the ZI also inscribes the focal length designation in the appropriate frame lines. Nice touch. Judging from the diameter of the eyepeice being twice that of a Leica M, I can't imagine seeing the framelines will be an isssue.
