Hi all,

Does anyone out there know where I could get a quick load kit and a rewind lever for an M2?

They have rewind levers by Photoequip at Tamarkin (http://www.tamarkin.com/catalog/products/leica/leicamaccs.html).

The quick load kits may be harder to find. I think you can have DAG install one when you send the camera in for a CLA.

Unless you have used the quickload kit and are proficient with it, I find that using a second take-up spool to pre-thread the film is as fast ot faster than the quickload kit. Also costs a lot less.

Easiest way to get a spare take-up spool is through 3bay. That said, a Zorki or FED spool *should* work. I know for sure that they work on the thread mount Leicas and I'm fairly certain that they will work on an M2 as well.

Verify with more knowledgeable forum members, before you purchase, however.
