How to use 2cassette system

Hi, maybe it's a no-brainer, but I don't seem to be able to get the right-hand cassette working well. i.e. I can get it in place, can get the film attached, but after that I can't get the camera-back back in its place! Ideas anybody??

Have you made sure the "bottom" part of the right-hand cassette will fit in the base of the camera back, i.e. the bit that holds the spool in place ?

Looks like that is allright. It fits. Not really like a glove, but it fits.
Problem is still that It seems impossible to close the back.
Should I close the cassette, holding the film, and then insert it into the camera? It's strange that there seems not to be a manual for it anywhere around!
