Leica M6 TTL 0.58 question

I was wondering how many silver M6TTL 0.58 cameras were made and in what years ? I see them in black but not in the silver version.

I thought the silver ones were more common. They tend to go cheap in the UK right now, just got one.

I just (this week) bought exactly that configuration in a NOS model here in Australia. Wouldn't have called it cheap exactly but a lot less than an M7. Great camera and I love the silver. My first Leica!
