They're quite easy to make from the central spool of a 35mm cassette - ask at a local 1-hr lab if they will let you have some.

Otherwise look up Alexphoto's e-bay shop (might be alex_photo or alex-photo).

I think fedka.com has some.

Fedka has brand-new Arsenal spools (http://www.fedka.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=535) with cases, and they work like a charm.

(And I only know about them because I asked the exact same question a month ago :D)

I needed a couple of t/u spools for my Kievs so I copied the Contax design. Just get a hold of a few film spools, using a hack-saw cut a diagonal starting in the middle of the shank carefully down to the end of the spool. Use fine sandpaper to tidy the incision and to remove fine bits of plastic and voila! Kiev spool. Cheers from Australia

http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/kievspool.jpg is the place where
Rick Oleson posted Henry Fisher's brilliant solution to your problem.
Try it - it works! (and it's FREE)
I've used several for years now.

Vitalii9146 on the big auction site is selling a set of four of them, with cases (!), for $4.99 U.S. plus shipping, which shouldn't be real expensive for you as he is in Kiev, Ukraine.

I have also borrowed a spool from one of my Exactas and worked just fine. Others may work as well. Good Luck. Joe

I made several from film spools I got from the 1-Hour place at Costco. I filled the center with plumber epoxy and did some cutting with a hack saw blade. Smelled like heck while it was drying but worked great. I gave all the ones I made away a while back. I used this link for mine.

It's really easy to do.
