Yeah, just scanned my first 2 test rolls...

Much better than expected; the rollei 35s is a wonderful little machine, fun to use, a magnificent glass... and zone focusing at 800ASA isn't that hard. Just 2 or 3 shots out of 72 were clearly out of focus and most of them just tack-sharp!

Very nice images, monkeypainter! I agree, the Rollei 35s is a great little camera, it's with me as my pocket 'documentary' camera.

If I could just need to get better with scale-focusing at f2.8 indoors, but once the focus in nailed, there's very little to complain about.

#3 is very lovely.

I had a 35S once, it's too fiddly to use for me. So I am using the XA4 now.

The 35S has a lovely Sonnar- my favorite camera bar non.

@ Monkeypainter, you have a good eye!

@Woolenmammoth: The "S" in Rollei 35s stands for Sonnar. A Rollei 35 with a Tessar would be a 35T.

Yes, Rollei 35S ist for 'sonnar' (zeiss sonnar 2.8)

It is Ilford HP5-400 pushed at 800ASA, developed in d76 1+1

Thanx for your compliments!
