My Father passed down some old camera equipment to me this year. I have 2 meters and wanted to know if anyone has used them before and if they are pretty accurate. I want to use 1 or both with my Hexar AF and thought it would be fun.

The first one is a Wein WP500B Flash Meter and the second one is the original pilot light meter made by Gossen of the former West Germany.

I need to find some manuals for them online.

if i remember correctly, the wein is only for flash and mostly for a studio setup. at the time they were a less expensive alternative to more sophisicated meters.

i like the pilots as i have said a few times around here. small, accurate etc.
they work well, especially for outdoor shooting.

thanks for the reply joe. my father used the wein in his studio, so that would make sense. i like the pilot because its somewhat small and i can hang it around my neck. it's very discreet like my hexar.

Here is a place to find older Gossen manuals http://www.gossen-photo.de/english/foto_sammler.html . The manual that you are looking for may be in there but under a different name as it sometimes depended where in the world it was bought as to what it was called.
