The CLE is a nice looking camera, especially all clean like this one, but in gold, it's just not right. I'd like to see a chrome and black one, if it exists (??). Mine are all black.

Gold is fine for the trophy shelf, but I like my black CLEs for shooting. Come to think on it, I don't recall seeing a CLE with aftermarket color leather...

I saw one of these babies last night in one of my favourite photo shops in Tokyo. It is gorgeous, but I cannot see the point in owning a camera that I couldn't possibly go out and shoot with.

What's stopping you from shooing with it-- after all, people wear gold all the time and a goldsmith could fix it :-)

Not much brass in a CLE.
Can't imagine why they made the gold ones, though.
