I lost my battery cover for the M6 somewhere in the dirt in Bikaner, India. So I rigged up a replacement with a piece of metal from a paper clip, first-aid tape, and a little strip of duct tape. Held up fine for the rest of the trip, but I think I'd like to find a replacement cover. Any thoughts where I should look and how much they cost?

You might try Leica, I understand they are still in business --- for a while.
Seriously, they even have a version with a coin slot as replacement, that is said to stay on better.

Thanks for the pointers! Just bought two from DAG. One is a replacement for the stock, the second a used coinslot type from an R. He also had a third-party kind with a power switch. The Leica one is $38, the fancy third-party one also $38, and a used one from an R body $15. $3 shipping. He even takes paypal. That was easily solved! :D
