View Full Version : I love this shot, really want to share with you.
This one was taken in a recent trip of Tai O (Hong Kong), with the CV28/3.5 on M8.

I like it. For me it's just abit too symmetric. but you still have the cropping option. In fact cropping would show very interesting variants ....you could end up with 3-4 great shots.

The composition is great and the colours work together perfectly. Well done mate!!
Any other shots from that day?
Colours in the natural order and repetitive patterns, what’s not to like? nice :)

Imo the symmetry is one of the strengths. I would crop it though to lose a bit of the top.
Honestly - your first shot doesnt do anything for me. However - all the others are very nice!

I'm usually the odd man out, but I agree. Number three in the second series also seems, oh, I don't know, busy but not intrigueing. However the color is great. Same for all the shots. I enjoyed them for that. The others in the series were very nice.
Do you have more?
Guys, thank you all for your comments! I will try to pick a few more to share if you don't mind.
BTW, dryice, you'll be the first one in the invitation list of the next gathering. :p

Dingo...Nice stuff you got there...I really like the "Old Shop" shot...
Come on Dingo, show us the "Red letter box" and the long exposure shots, I am sure they came out good!
Dryice - How does Saturday 17th January sounds to you? Are you available for a small gathering?

First shot is very funny. Don't crop or alter it in any way.

LOL, ... the forth shooter. Alread you capturing this bonus shot is great but that would really be topping it off. Great series alltogether.

Thank you for posting Dingo, I like them but you definitely need to buy UV/IR filters!!!!!!!
Dingo, love the first shot. Honestly it stands out the most to me. It goes above and beyond all the rest.
Personally I love it's peculiarity and strangeness. That to me makes some interesting photographs. :) Well done my friend.
Though I do have to say, your second long exposure shot is beautiful. The riverhouses, etc
BTW, What is your flickr account URL, dingo? I'd love to keep updated on your photostream/updates/progress/etc. Some really interesting stuff going on there.
Thanks jbf, comments from you and other members are forces to push me working harder on photography.

I never expected there're many Hong Kong photographers here. Great series of Tai O photos!
Really great set. Next time I'm in HK I have to try to make it there... looks like a great place to photograph.

Your photos are good, especially the "shop" pictures.
Great second series! I really enjoy looking at them. Hope you will post more!
Thank you all! Yes, there are a lot of RFF members here in HK, and luckily we also have a lot of great sceneries and occasions waiting for us to shoot!
BTW, I am sure there are some great stuff coming from Meven and Louiskht very soon. :p
