View Full Version : Easiest/Fastest way to get M to G1 adapter?
Is the only option right now the Novaflex? If so how did you guys order and how long did it take to receive (US)? I sent them an email, with no response.
Are there any members here who could buy a RayQual in Japan and ship to the US for me? It looks like CameraQuest will have them - but in February.
The Milich option is not ready yet (and I think it will be all brass, and not too attractive on the camera, IMO).
Thanks!

Do you have any nearby camera stores that are Novoflex dealers? My local shop gets them from a supplier called Red Raven Marketing. They have lost of different Novoflex adapters and will have the M-Micro 4/3 within a few days.
Thanks, I can check that option too.

play with the kit lens for now.
i'd be out there shooting if it weren't snowing with icy roads and cold wind chill.
i just found out yesterday that the 45-200 that i ordered and paid extra for 2 day delivery never got shipped. prodigital2000, takes days to answer an email and no real answers after 2 phone conversations. good prices, poor service.

i hope you have better luck than i have had with them.
shipping on my lens was free but i asked for 2 day air and paid extra for it. that was on the dec 21. still nothing arrived at my door as of today.
i emailed them and got an answer a few days later, well after i had talked with them by phone. they can't find any paperwork, just the paypal payment. i don't think they sent it yet. they were supposed to call me this morning...nothing!

Apparently John Milich makes an adapter now... See this thread:

Well, they shipped next day and sent a tracking number and the kit is currently moving across Ontario, according to UPS. We'll see what happens next week!

I know - but that is an LTM mount and it is brass and I don't think it will look that great on the camera. He is working on an M adapter, bnut they aren't quite ready yet (again to be brass colored)
...........why would you make a m4/3 to LTM adapter when a good majority of people with LTM will have already had adapters for m mount. Would it not be killing two birds with one stone to simply just make the m mount?

I think because the LTM adapter is much simpler to design and make...no lens releases, no springs, etc.

LTM on an adaptor on an adaptor on a camera. does not sound nice to me.
No it should be lens to adaptor really.

I have my black G1 sitting in front of me with a black CV12mm lens on it via a brass Milich LTM adapter. It does not look bad to me.
I am looking forward to the M to G1 adapter. Screwing the lenses on and off is a PITA. Once I have the M to G1 adapter, I will just leave the LTM adapters on the lenses and mount them to the M to G1 adapter.

If you use the LTM lenses on an M Mount anyway, or have both M and LTM mount lenses, then it only makes sense to use the M adapter for the G1. Have both the adapters would be no issue at all.

You could always easily blacken the brass. Odd he is not doing it.
So how have those of you who have an adapter already got it? I sent a message off to Rayqual and they dont ship out of japan, an email to novoflex and to its China then to its HK dealers say they dont know of any G1 to M mount adapter, I was surprised about the email directly to novoflex that said they had no such product! Milich doesnt seem to have a website....so whats the deal?

I have John Milich's LTM to G1 adapter. I am enjoying using my LTM lenses on the G1, but can't wait for the M to G1 adapter so that I can try more lenses. He should be finishing it up this coming week. He can be reached by email at jm@milich.com.

I had the same problem, the Novoflex distributor in the US had never heard of the product until I showed them the press release. I ordered direct from Novoflex.
