thinking about buying an ultron 28mm 1.9....can anyone tell me their experiences with it? what's the close focus? how is it wide open? how is its build quality? that said...does anyone have one to sell? or trade for an 21mm Avenon?

I bought a 28mm Ultron to replace a 35mm Summaron which was terminally damaged by a fungus. The Ultron is a fine lens, but I believe I am more of a 35mm person, so I bought another Summaron. If the Summaron performs as well as it looks, I may sell the Ultron.

Build quality seems excellent. Close focus is around 0.7m. I haven't used it wide open yet. I posted a few high resolution scans at http://pw2.netcom.com/~hermaion/photos.html

Both of the staircase images in my gallery were shot with an 28mm Ultron. I really like the lens, and the build quality is excellent for the price.
