Can lens use without gogles? Is it same lens that without gogles model?

Hello! I hear that old version would be more valued than some others. Question is on Summicron 35/2 crome without gogles and its serial number is 1996* from year 1963, 8 element - told by the seller. Is it true and why it is that way? Is there something like 50/2 DR have, "best for B&W"?
Can I use M3 version (gogles) without gogles? Is it same lens other way than M2 version?
Hi Mirrored. Welcome to RFF. This is an often asked (and answered question). Search the forums.
In short, the answer on your question is NO!
Thanks. I have search very much without success.
With gogles is offered much cheaper ones.
Double-post with the other thread:
lenses with goggles have the focus mechanism adapted to the goggles. The goggles enlarge the Field of View by factor 1.4, to make 50mm framelines usable for 35. When you remove them, (1) the camera will still show the 50mm framelines, and (2) the focus will be wrong. For example, when (without goggles) you focus the camera at an object at 1m distance, the lens will focus at less than .7m, and the resulting picture will be heavily front-focused.
A lens that was designed to be used with goggles has to be used with them, also on a camera with 35mm framelines.
A 35mm with goggles is meant for the M3. The goggles convert the 35 mm field of view so that it 'fits' the 50mm frameline of the M3.
The lens can not be used without the goggles, at least not if you want to be able to focus properly.
This is the different to the 50mm DR with goggles, here the goggles serve as a close-up focusing device.
Note also that the M3/goggle 35/2 has 0.6m minimum focus, while the lens designed for the M2 has .7m min. focus. That is how you can distinguish them.
Thank you. I think I got it now. And 50 DR you can use without eyes, if I understood, but is there any difference to 50 Rigid then?
Sure Canolux would will buy me one, with uncomplete answer to my question. ;) But, if someone have M3, they have two now, the cheaper one 300€.
I have read, that eyes fit to other bodys too. That perhaps is 50 DR Summicron only.
I apologies my bad sentence forming. I try to learn english.
