I remember when "stash" meant something you smoked with your friends ;-) This morning there was an article on AOL news that they've discovered that there's some chemical in the stuff, and a different one in red wine, that both prevent Alzheimers desease. The unanswered question is would you be too drunk and stoned to use your Leicas or too broke from buying the "stash" to purchase Leicas?

What a wonderful 'discovery' I hope they all work for you as nicely as they look.

Oh Jay...
For shame, for shame.
Maybe you should take Richard's approach.... and share (?)

Except for the M3, the rest got locked in and remain unused since I started getting Zorki and FED. The Barnack Leicas I use now are 2 IIIc's which managed to evade getting locked up :D The IIIf which I restored (featured in the "Bringing back a Leica from the Dead") is what I fancy using now, and it's now the Barnack Zorki getting neglected...:D
@Chut- once they get in they never get out :P
Tsk, tsk... hoarding 'em eh? Perhaps I'll need to plan a heist and get one of your cats to pull an inside job.

Wow!
....what a stash.....I hope a magic box like that comes or accumulates near me someday.
Is a Leica survival site coming our way in the future?

Jay,
I'm forgetful, but never THAT forgetful! I vote you share them out on the basis that (a) you have too many, and (b) you obviously don't appreciate them enough! ;)

Please, please use them or let somebody else use them. Don't let them rot away. Christmas is just a few weeks away! I promise if I use them and post the pictures, I will give you credit.
Very cool re-discovery, Jay!
Al, when you say "both prevent...", does that mean either or the two in combination? This could be very critical in the next few years for me... :D

OK I thought you were pulling my or legs Jay.
Great god this shows that the fabled compactness of the Leicas also has its disadvantages.
I doubt if you could forget the same number of Sinars or Linhofs.
Won´t you sell me one of these?

Dang,
That's a nice 'forgotten' stash you have there. A veritable Leica treasure trove.
That's why I keep mine where I can see them :D
I had a similar thing happen a while ago ... fortunately I got over it before it got out of hand ... I'm back to two! :p
