Making fast profit?

Typically I came across the offering of this M3, nr 701208 (see below hyperlink)as stated by the seller an early one, but not thát early. Now I was looking in my database and to my surprise I see that this camera a few months ago was sold on the great bay for Euro 720!

So the current seller tries to make a nice profit of almost 100%! However until now no one is making a fool of him- herself: no biddings yet.:D

There used to be more than a few sellers on Ebay who purchased cameras (usually from the States, when the pound / euro whatever was stronger) and then tried to sell them on at a profit. I don't know if the seller listed is one of these, but I often wondered how they managed to do it given customs charges / import duty etc. I was also amazed at the number of people who would pay their price as well!

It was also interesting to look through their feedback to see that the lens they bought described as "scratched" would suddenly morph into "mint" condition!
