This was a fair review. I've been shooting a G1 for ten days on a trip to Israel. I haven't spent alot of time looking at the photos in detail, but the camera itself is a real pleasure to use. Not much to complain about there. A quick glance at the images showed very pleasing results.

Very promising.
I played with one in Hong Kong.
Looks like a nice future, too: pancake prime next year, eventual G2...the future mini offering with OIS in the body from Olympus...sensor upgrades...better high ISO performance...
With an M adapter I could use my ZM 18 and 35 to get a 36/70 combo, or the ZM 21 and CV40 for a 42/80. If that works it could give me an excuse to buy a CV 12. Hahaha! Could be fun. But the kit lenses look like they are the way to go.

The 14-45mm (2x crop factor) kit lens is real nice. No complaints there.

In body ois would have been a great thing for this camera.
Waiting for the 20mm to decide.
