Hi there

Anyone had any experience with the Accurapid winder on a Barnack? I was thinking this might be a cheaper alternative to a Leicavit. A picture of the accurapid winder can be found here:
https://www.leicashop.com/vintage/accura-accurapid-wind-p-742.html

It fits on the wind knob and its lever allows faster winding on, although the lever has to be actuated in the opposite way to a normal lever wind on so I gues with the forefinger.
Thanks

Using the forefinger "roll" technique is just as fast, save your money and use your finger, place your forefinger straight across the base of the winder knob even with the top of the camera and pull in, bending your finger and pulling at the same time, the knob will turn as fast as you can move your finger, this takes some getting used to and some practice, the inner edge of your gets a little worn/tender by the film winder knob, but it`s worth it, an old German Leicaphile tought me this back in my collecting days......
