item number 190268277193.

Any opinion about this particular camera? Just curious, because I find the resulting discussions to interesting;)

Hey dexdog,

That looks nice, I have one from the same era that has been converted to a IIIf. The red curtains were swapped for black when it was converted though :(

I would like to have that, especially with a nice Summitar, but the pound to $ rate is so bad at the moment that I don't think I will be able to afford it. The market seems a bit flat at the moment, so it will be interesting to see where this one finishes.

So, Tom, what thoughts?

Hello Dexdog and John!

Looks to be a decent early IIIC Red Curtain, nothing really rare, but a nice little starter kit for someone to be sure....

Here`s the REAL DEAL a German Airforce camera with all the correct matching numbers and that really crazy rare case with embossing.

This is a $2,000 camera, let`s see if it gets there?
*the nicest LE camera I`ve seen in years ~ this should sell high, due to it`s condition and the rarity of being a complete camera*

I saw that Vince, I would personally just be interested in the Black MOOLY C, though it`s really just an exotic paperweight, not anything that could be used on a regular basis :)
*it would look good on the bottom of my IIIC K Grey*

Good Luck with the sale

Tom

Oh c'mon, how can you say no to another stepper? Besides, it's been perfectly calibrated to this body and works beautifully. Boy that Frank Marshman knows what he's doing!

Yeah, that Luftwaffe camera sure looks nice. Only condition defect is some loss of chrome around the Luftwaffen-Eigentum engraving on the back, perphaps it was painted-over for a time, and the loss of chrome is from klutzy removal of said paint.

I think that`s case wear, or someone almost started to deface the camera and then had second thoughts.

WOW!

It sold for more than $3k
