View Full Version : signatures?
uh oh, what happened to all of the signatures? all i see is a line that lists my RFF member page which is certainly not what i wanna be advertising! :p
Hey, yah! What' up with that?
user575, i'm user 1546. nice to make your acquaintance.
We have such a warm, personal atmosphere here! :)
You can go to your UserCP and use the signature editing box to recreate what you need. Look in the toolbar section, and find the button that allows you to insert and rename a link. There are four or five choices. I forget which icon it is, but it'll walk you through a two-step process of renaming and inserting the link (or vise versa).
The question is, why were they wiped out? It's no biggie to redo, your are correct in that.

oops. sorry Frank. I reread my post. It sounds a bit cold and assuming. I should've added a bunch of smilies. :) I have to do that with my writing. I posted that for anyone who may not know what to do. Like me about an hour or two ago. Hope it helps the helpless. :)
No worries, Ray. :)
Time to update my witty sign-off.
i'm lazy, damn it! Heck, idk what i ate for breakfast this morning much less what i had in my sig. ;)
I'm only somewhat helpless. How does one create a link to one's gallery?

Frank,
Click on Gallery, then on My Gallery. Copy the URL from your browser. Go to your CP, edit your signature. Place the cursor in the text box where you want the link to be, and click the "planet with a paperclip" icon.
You'll be prompted for some text. Put "My Gallery", or whatever. Click OK. You'll be prompted for the link. Paste the link you copied, and click OK.
Save your sig, and you're done!

There really is no need to copy the URL from the gallery. It's already in the signature. At least, it was in mine.
So... using the handy toolbar in the CP, I created a link and restored my silly suggestion at the foot of my signature. Now, if I only could "color my lines"... :(

:) :) :) ;) in the same place copy the information in your signature that you want colored (you'll have to know where the html text begins and ends), and then click on the Color drop down menu and choose a color. The system will prompt for the text, so just paste it in; preview your sig and save. :)
