View Full Version : CV15mm ...
Taken with M7 and Voigtlander CV15mm + XP2 (some digital manipulation).
This lens is great !!
Which cockpit is that? Was the shot cropped?
I thought that too but somehow it seems a tad tiny even for a WW2 bomber. Instruments look rather newish, especially the row of mode announciators on the upper right side of the panel. Then again, it could always have been modified but usually with warbirds, a lot of the original bits are usually preserved. That's a real tiny space to have 2 helmeted crew members fly together.
Lancaster (UK); image cropped. And yes, it is cramped!
As far as I'm aware, all the instruments are real ...
Here's a couple more shots - you'll see why the 15mm is cool!
Sorry, meant to add that there are two pilots sat down, with a navigator and air engineer stood directly behind them - ie 4(!) in the small cockpit!
very nice shots!
Looks like you were actually in the air were you?!
I always wanted to fly in one of those, the sound of the 4 Rolls Merlin engines is awesome.
... you might say it's a my weekend job!
Lets hear it for CWH. Thought I recognized the name.
Is that Bob? From London HoC etc?
