Won't work. The MD lens were made for the SLR and have a different mount than the CL's mount..

Yes, it does fit with a Leitz 22233 adapter. You'll have to scale focus, though.

Well, you can't have everything. Interesting how many want Brand "X" lenses to fit Brand "Y" cameras.

I have three Minoltas with the MC/MD mount and a collection of lenses and attachments. Also have a Leica M4-2 and three lenses for it. But I don't expect one to fit the other.

I might add that I, along with many others, uttered a few choice words when Minolta went from the old mount to the Maxxum one. It took me a long time before I bought a Maxxum. Now I have two. So much for interchangeability.

Well, at least you can hack MC/MD lenses into an Alpha/AF mount. Take the hacking part very literally. This way I have the fantastic 58/1,2 in Alpha mount.

Here's two pictures taken with a 28mm MD Rokkor mounted on a Leica M2 using the 22233 adapter. It works just fine, but you'll have to scale focus. Not much of a problem with wide angle lenses, however.
