After 6 days of waiting (thanks RJ) I received my Epson R-D1. I also bought a 50mm f/1.2 LTM for around $250 with haze at Collectible Cameras. These are some of my first dozen shots I took with my Epson.

I never shot with a rangefinder but the size and subtly of a rangefinder is something I have been lusting for a VERY long time. :)

Love the colours and the shallow DOF.... looks like you are on a winner here... Makes me think twice about selling mine.

The 50mm 1.2 LTM is what lens exactly? Love the rendering of the first image with the woman's hair moving erratically just as the background rendering.

Those are lovely pictures, I am thinking more and more about getting one of these, as much as I love film it should would be handy to have a tidy digital camera that does not look like a housebrick (my 5D with grip and L plate.)

I carry a 5D around with manual lenses (Olympus OMs, Minolta MCs & etc...

I agree, my 5D definitely a brick - I always get looks whenever I try to shoot candid photos. Now with the epson everyone thinks it's a film camera :) it's very stealthy indeed.

Those colors are wild. I can't get my R-D1 to do that. Did u do much post-processing?
