Jupiter 9 in M42 mount

Hi all!

A week ago or so the aperture in my black J9 from `92 fell apart. The blades are just loose. Is there anything I should keep in mind before opening a J9 in SLR mount? (the LTM version is a nightmare but I got it right) ;)

ok, I got it. it's easy but the blades are totally messed up. now my J9 is a f2 lens only :)

I feel your pain as I have a LF lens, a old Jena, that had paper blades that fell apart years ago and the shutter died. Now I can only use it on an old Speed Graphic for very special stuff.
