No connection with seller. Seems to be a good deal.

Excellent deal but US only! Otherwise I would have snapped it up!
That Summicron has to be worth at least $250.00 ... an M2 button rewind for the balance is exceptional!
Whoops ... gone already!

Thank goodness someone bought it. I don't need another M. Sure was tempting.
Folks, that someone is me.
It looks like I get to resurrect another Leica, which will bring me to up to four. Seriously, a big thanks to roundg for posting the heads up.
Unfortunately, its time to get ready to leave for work. I can contemplate what gear I need to sell during the day.
...... and Keith, unless my eyes deceive me this M2 has a lever rewind. Look again.

I actually meant to say lever rewind and for some reason typed button ... I was dazzled by the deal.
Congratulations on the bargain ... you gotta love this place ... my own M2 came courtesy of an RFF heads up! :p

My great pleasure. and Congratulations!
Just an update the M2 and lens arrived in Thursday's mail and I wasn't home - of course. So, I picked up at the Post Office, yesterday during lunch.
Man, I like this M2 even though it isn't functional and is cosmetically challenged on the rear. The collapsible Summicron doesn't have haze - but it does have more than a few light cleaning marks.

In addition to the vulcanite needing replacement and major brassing of the rear door, the first curtain is capping about 6mm into the frame at 1/30th and slower.

Better than expected, but in need of a CLA and some cosmetic surgery.
The bottom plate had a good deal of tape residue for some reason - which is coming off quite nicely with Rosinol and a soft cotton rag. The camera itself was grungy - to include the front frame-line illumination window. I've cleaned most of the grunge in one sitting.
I'm thinking ordering a Griptac covering and will probably send the camera off to Youxin. I'll be trying out the Summicron on my M3. I already have a collapsible Summicron. So, this one may be up for grabs soon.
Congratulations. One day, you may want to resell it here. :-)
Honestly Raid, I may be selling either my FED 2 or my Bessa. Maybe both. The viewfinder on the M2 is in excellent shape. There something about an M finder that says, "Use me with film in the camera".
I just sold my V/C 35 bright-line finder tonight. I still have a SBLOO for the M3.
