Well, 2 actually.
I am trying to find a hood that fits both an Industar-50 collapsible (would any hood made for the Emars work?) as well as a hood for the rigid Industar-50.
I am new at this. Thanks for any help.

I just realized I posted this in the wrong forum. Is there a way to have it moved? :(
Captain Mike,
A hood for the collapsible Industar shouldn't be too tough but might be a bit pricey; as you ask, the hoods/filters for the Elmar do fit. "A36" (sometimes written "a36") clamp on or slip on size.
The rigid I-50 hoods/filters are much harder to find; this lens has a 33mm thread. I got very fortunate and mine came with a hood. Still haven't sorted out any filters yet.
You might try this ebay seller:

I've dealt with him a few times for stuff like this and like the service and products he has.
Good hunting!

OK, I just tried this and it works, sort of. I can use my a36 E. Leitz clamp on filters on my Rigid I-50. But, I can't see the aperture settings while the filter is on the lens. With the Bessa R that might not be a problem for you--and most of the time it won't be for me--depending on how or if you want to manage depth of field.

I've had a few 32mm push-on filters and hoods/shades for years,- and think they are widely available still, so this was my solution.......I might be persuaded to machine a couple more, (or different size!) if anyone is having problems ;)
Cheers, Dave.

Thank you very much for the help. I was able to find a 33mm push fit hood.

I guess it's better that you seek a hood for a Russian lens than a lens for a Russian hood....

Rob, Thanks for this valuable information. I just recently asked Fedka this very question, and he tried but wasn't sure. But now I see several 33mm hoods, and filters now available on ebay. Regards, -Dan
The hood for the collapsible is any 36.0mm hood available from fedka or heavystars on ebay. The one for the rigid is more of a problem. I had a nice, aluminum adapter made for the latter by S.K. Grimes to fit the common size 49.0mm filters/ hoods.
Why not use a stepping ring? I found a seller on ebay selling any size to any size stepping rings - so I bought a couple to step up to 52 mm - the size of my Nikkor lenses - so now all my hoods and filters are compatible with my FSU lenses. Only small snag - they partially obscure the viewfinder, but it is liveable with, for me at least.
