I realise I am being pedantic, but to me this looks like a leitz minolta CL version M-rokkor 40/2 (single coated), not the multicoated CLE version. Am I mistaken?

I expect it doesn't matter in the end (unless one is concerned with cams, amount of coating etc.), but do the CLE versions go for a few more quid?

....now to think of an interesting and worthwhile story to post..hoho

Its definitely the earlier Rokkor from a Leitz Minolta CL not a CLE version as he implies. These are usually the cheapest of the 40mm f2's. The CLE version and Summicrons just fetch a fraction more.
