Pushing and cross processing provia 100f

Because provia 400f is too expensive for me I just bought a second bulk of provia 100f at a bargain price and I'm planning to push it to 400. I just want to know if some of you have ever push this film and how was the result. Futhermore, I plan to cross process it, I saw some examples on the web and they was not convincing. Have you done that before and how was the result ? I did cross process Agfa Precisa and it was great. No real color shift, but the colors was stunning and very contrasty.

Thanks chambrenoire for the link. I'm too tired tonight to process my first provia film with E6 (7 steps), and I think the shots was not really good so I will x process it just for fun.

i have pushed provia 400 to 1600 before, the colours are abit muted compared to normal and its grainny, very visible grain

but otherwise ok

You can only recover detail/print within about a half stop up or down of the developed slide, but you can for sure push it a couple stops.

I haven't tried Provia 100F, but I expect it can handle pushing a stop or two pretty well. certainly provia 400F/400X handles pushing very well - I shoot 400X +2 stops to iso 1600 as my standard setup, I quite like the grain & contrast.
