Porn Bots?

Happened to notice new users registering tonite.

Interesting thing was that their profile all looked the same with the one difference that their profiles used different porn sites as home address.

Example: - alser - just signed up with a w-gay.com as home site and the previous 'new user' had wmature.com or something as its home page.

Are we now invaded by porn bots?

Arg ! seems the internet is full of bots, trojans, virus and hijackers lately... and the thing doesn't seem to stop !

No idea if there is something specific to prevent such kind of 'attacks' in a forum site, but recently I've become familiar with tools for personal computers, such spybot s&d, adaware, hijackthis!, and a lot more...

i know jorge keeps his eye out for these 'new' members and removes them pretty quick when they appear.

and rover, i'll try to keep myself in check when it come to the new topic.

Every hour a cron job automatically removes these users. You may notice they register but seem to be gon by the top of the hour. What a shame that we have something good going here and some people just want to spoil it. But we are on top of it!
