the black LTM 85mm Nikkors are not very common, but the price seems to be on the high side.
Alex does ask quite a bit for his gear.

I got mine (same version) for almost half the price, but it's more of a user (it does get used :) )

Great lens, much lighter than the chrome one.

This is the 1st version of the black one, pretty rare. Later ones have different hoods and different focus rings (more similar to the 105/2.5).

That may be a bit above average, but I have seen them sell for $1200, in outstanding condition.

That is about 1/2 the price of 10 years ago, you guys are buying this stuff cheaper and cheaper since there are fewer collectors or users.

Users, I understand. But why fewer collectors ? Just wondering ....
