Did anyone see this over at DPReview?

Technology is fun, but how many raid arrays would one need to store the files from this puppy?

At a snip under FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS my storage problems would be created through having sold my house to buy one ;)

That's pretty awesome, but I can't think of any time when either a normal DSLR or else a large format film camera wouldn't be better.

Had I the cash I'd wait for the rumored Nikon D3x with its FX 24mp chip. While I'm dreaming I'd include a full set of ZF lenses to round out the kit with 2 SB900 flashes. Probably still less than the basic Hassy rig.

If you do high-volume work requiring huge polygraphic output, this might be a great solution.

Or if you collect very expensive cameras..
