I'm curious about the rarity of a F-36 I recently came across (and unfortunately let go to someone else). It seems to have been a Jacobson battery pack on an old Nikon motordrive (I'm not even sure it wasn't the S-36 someone said here is ultra-rare with that pack).

The F drive is pictured here on de Stoutz's site...http://www.destoutz.ch/acc_motor_f36_98392.html

Would anyone hazard a guess as to a dollar value?

Thanks.

Some collectors, who collect non-Nikon accessories find it very interesting, but not enough of them exist in the market to set a price. Nothing astronomical.

My F36 with a contemporary Remopak was $150 at Penn camera a few years ago.

I will give you a guess, a good one at that!

F36's are not special, unless they are early(Nippon Kogaku) or very clean... Around $200 is all they're worth!!

Fred is talking about the cordless battery pack- the Jacobson Powercon, and later Remopak. There were ~1,000 Remopaks made. Many Less Powercons were made. I have a late Remopak, somewhere around the 900th.
