View Full Version : These Hexanon f1.2 lenses, any good?
These Hexanon f1.2 lenses, the 50mm and 60mm, are they any good?
They are expensive enough. And I suppose scarce enough.
Can anyone compare them to say, Leica Summiux (I know there are many variants) ?
regards
Vick
Do a search and you'll find some example pics.

In the last 2 weeks there has been a huge price rise, there was a BIN example for $1900USD on ebay a few weeks back, now the BIN examples are in excess of $2700; it would be cheaper to buy the kit with the body and part the body out. All reports suggest that they are brilliant lenses. Andrew.

There's quite a few sample thread in the Konica sub-forum
I just purchased a 50/1.2 M Hexanon and can honestly say it outperforms the few samples of the 50/1.4 pre-aspheric Summilux I use to own but not as sharp as the ASPH. Summilux (but nothing else beats it or probably ever will for absolute sharpness).
