Anyone know which Kodak screw-in filter adapter ring will fit the Argus C3 lens? Possibly a Series IV, No.44? Or might there be a slip-on adapter ring that would fit?

If I understand what you're looking for, the screw-in filter for the Argus C-3 lens also fits the 35mm and 50mm Leica Elmar lens...As a result, the filter is hard to find and a little pricey...You occasionally can find them on Ebay in sets of four or more in red, green, blue, yellow and --maybe -- uv...You're better off looking for a slip-on adapter ring on the outside diameter...Just measure the outside diameter and hunt for a slip-on...

It uses 19mm filters, and "Mil-o" made an adapter for Series V filters, marked "C-3". At least that's what the one that I have has on it. Ebay or a camera show, mine was at a PhotoRama show.

I'm currently bidding on a 3 screw-in filter set from Walz, so don't get any itchy bidding fingers ;)

Which model C3? The later Standards & Matchmatics used a different lens assembly than the earlier models. The Matchmatics & Standards I believe are threaded for a series V filter.
