Please help this ignorant newby. I am trying to reassemble the lens of a C3. I am having difficulty getting the diaphrame to adjust. The blades are not moving when I change the f-stop. I believe the little studs on the diaphram are supposed to go into the slots on the control coupler. Is there a trick to this or just if at first you don't succeed, try, try again? I have followed the directions on Oleson's website correctly...I hope. :bang::bang:
Thanks,
Richard

Hooray, I was able to get the f-stops to change. I just needed more caffeine and more patience. I think I needed to have the aperture smaller and probably closer to a true circle so the studs would engage. Wow, I wonder if this counts as my first repair. Next onto the rangefinder adjustment. Then a test roll goes through the C3.

Sure it counts as a repair. The rangefinder adj. on the C is very touchy, especially the horizontal adjustment. Do the horizontal first and then the vertical. Just follow Oleson's instuctions and take your time.
