I've read in several places that "somewhere" on the internet, one can find the button sequences to reprogram a hexar AF, e.g. to include features left out in later models, like the silent advance mode, but I can't find these data anywhere. Anybody who knows ?

Thanks,

Stefan.

The bookmarks are on my home computer...I'll see if I can find the info again.

Here, I think this is the procedure I used...if it blows up your camera...don't come back to me. :-)

There are two takes on it on this thread. I think I used the first one.

Ok, thanks ! My Titanium version has the silent mode, but I have another one coming, and now I'm prepared if it hasn't the silent mode.

Stefan this may be what you want. http://photo.net/photo/hexar.html

I used the info on this page to re-program my Hexar Silver to include the stealth mode. Lots of other useful info too.

Really sorry in my excitement I didn't see the other post. I found the same information on the link posted in the other post. So, I can confirm that it works !

About a year ago I reprogrammed my Hexar AF Silver too, with the photo.net instructions IIRC. It works indeed!
