I knew there's the 35Ti, but the 28mm version would be even cooler.

You didn't know that Nikon had 28ti? It was introduced 1 or 2 years after 35ti been on the market. It made some improvements in addition to the lens swapping. It's price is consistently higher than 35ti. Now 2X to 3X price of 35ti is a norm.

Ok, just kidding. But I have oggled them in the local shops. They sell for a lot more than the 35Ti.
