Show us what you've got.
My CL has a new 1935 lens to go with the traditional ones.

That is my Favorite 35mm to use on the Leica. I "sold" my Canon 35/2.8 to an RFF'r, and shipped the 35/1.8 instead. He did not complain, and it got rid of the "seller's remorse".
I have both of them, Brian. Both are great lenses to use.

The Classic CL, as she started out in life 35 years ago- born with a 40/2 Summicron-C.
Bought mine from a collector, so it has no scratches, brassing or anything. The meter is unstable however, hence the VC II.
Standard Summicron-C, M-Rokkor 90 next to it. ALong with my M3 it's my favorite Leica.

Not sure whether mine can be considered as glamourous but to me it's just lovely.
some of you may remember this (the adventures of the CL (http://blog.kelvinkeh.com/?p=15)) when i posted it up about a year ago. unfortunately, i never did get around to the sequel... but there may be something else in the making ;)
.
A different pic of a previously shown CL... Thanks to Sienarot

Looking good!
A guy in brown uniform dropped it off yesterday. Kind of anxious how the first roll of film gonna turn out... we will see. :)
The camera belonged to another RFF member. He was supposed to bring an M3 to test how the breech lock from Ken Ruth works with a film camera but brought the CL instead. I thought it funny to see a small camera with a huge lens! :D

The CL isn't much bigger than the rear cap on the other 50mm f/0.95 :D
As impractical as it might be I bet that duo would be fun to shoot with.
I just sold my CL. Oh well. Some things just have to be moved to allow other things to be "parked in the garage'.

Just re-covered, looks much better than the shabby black that was there before. IMO, of course!

I've just bought an almost mint CL with the 40mm Summicron. Takes lovely pictures, looks great. Only thing I want now is a cap and hood for the existing lens, a couple more lenses and a nice leather carrying case. Will post pics later.

... with Carl Zeiss G Biogon 21/2.8 converted to Leica M mount, handmade leather case in black. At last I can carry the CL camera horizontally! Great!
The lens rear element seems to clear the metering arm by a comfortable distance.
The other with a self-made strap, Kyoto style autumn leaves motif and with the Rollei Sonnar 40mm F2.8 HFT.

Uh oh, was looking for a VC 40/1.4 for my Epson.. The seller also had a CL. I hope this won't work as a gateway to something bigger (and more expensive)!

hahaha I bet. That one went to Sherry Krauter for a fixing by fed ex air. Hope she can do something with it. Everyone here says she is the best. Cant wait to get it back!
OK, here is mine. Took me 3 hours replacing the fake leather with real leather. The hardest part is trimming the leather to the correct thickness on the edges and trim out the underside for the bends on four corners of the camera.
OK, after the Oly OM-2n porn I just uploaded to the OM thread, here's a photo of my CL.

Got this a few months back from KEH for cheap because it has a broken meter. Also picked up the relatively inexpensive m-rokkor 40mm. People seem surprised to find out that you can buy a Leica outfit for way less than a grand.
Shown next to a 50mm Hasselblad lens for scale.
I haven't used my Hassy much since getting the CL!

My Leica CL is finally complete: I managed to get the camera locally at a very good price. I've had some problems (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113782) with the light meter, but I think it may be fine now. The camera is encased in a Zhou half-case--which I wasn't sure (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1825506#post1825506) about before receiving it, but really like it now. I've attached a Domke strap (740-6BK), with rubber woven into the underside of the strap, mounted to one side of the camera as the original designers at Leica intended.
I have a Zeiss 35mm f/2 ZM lens (not shown) and a Zeiss 50mm f/2 ZM lens--which took me many months (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1802159#post1802159) to buy due to the problems in Japan with production since the earthquake. Both of those lenses use the same B&W 43mm filters and lens hood. On the camera is a Leica 90mm Elmarit-M f/2.8 lens (made in Germany) with a B&W 49mm filter. It was quite an adventure (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1836618#post1836618) buying that lens at an excellent price.
The final touch is a Voigtlander viewfinder on top for the 90mm lens. I think it adds extra coolness to the look. I just bought that from Camera Quest (http://CameraQuest.com/voigtacc.htm). I ordered it on a Saturday morning, and Stephen Gandy shipped it that day from California and it arrived at my apartment in Milan a few days later.
Altogether I think it's a slick looking set up

This is my second CL. Sold the 1st one and instantly regretted it. Perfect companion to my M8 and beginning to takeover as my main shooter.

so elegant
I like the CL so much, I have two of them. The CL is a nice platform for a wide angle lens like the CV21, and with the compact, fast CV40, it's a great general and nighttime combo.
