I'm just finishing up my second package of light seal material from John Goodman (Interslice on evilbay). I'd like to buy more, but he doesn't have any listed. I message'd him from evilbay and so far have no reply.

Any ideas for other sorces of light seal material in the US?
Anyone know if Mr. Goodman is just out of business or not?

I bought a kit from him a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe you just caught a gap in his listings? Though, the no email reply isn't usual. Vacation maybe?

I just use regular black cotton yarn, and some adhesive foam I got at the craft store. It all works great.

You must have just picked a bad time, or maybe something was wrong with your search. He has seven light seal kits listed now. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZinterslice Only other source worth mentioning, unless you want to go the DIY route and make your own, is Micro Tools. http://www.micro-tools.com/ Micro Tools sells an OEM type foam though, that's no better than what came out of there. You'll wind up replacing it too some day. Jon's foams are better than the original foam. He uses things like neoprene, acetate and a few other types of plastics that take centuries, instead of a single decade, to break down.
