Guys,

Correct me, if I am wrong, but there are 3 versions of Hexanon 35/2 for rangefinders:

1) M
2) UC
3) ?

I have one, which is M version, but consider swap it for UC. Having seen pictures, I have a gut feeling that UC signature looks similar to 35/2 on Hexar AF, which I also have and love so much, especially shooting BW.

Any thoughts, advises, samples on "signature" from all three different types?

regards,

wouldn't a UC cost 2x or more of just getting an AF?

The third is the Hexanon 35mm/F2 L mount type, with no prefix. Chrome instead of black paint. Rare, but what 35mm Konica lens isn't?

AFAIK, this is a predecessor of the UC lens, both derivatives of the Nikkor 35/1.8 that also made its way into the Hexar AF.

The M-Hexanon is significantly bigger than the UC. But it has .7m min focus, important for a 35, IMO.
