Grand Central Terminal has held my imagination since first boarding a train there...wow, nearly half a century ago, within a few years of when these (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/30/nyregion/thecity/30gran.html?_r=1&oref=slogin) photographs were taken. The photos are currently on diaplay at GCT until about June, according to the article. My memories: gleaming, corrugated steel, grey-on-grey F7 engines with their big lightning-bolt stripes, North by Northwest, et cetera. Sometimes, walking though the station on a late weekend night, I can still feel that vibe...
