Hi there,

I have 2 x 50mm hexanon, plus a 50 summicron.
I have then decided to sell one of my hexanon.
It has been very well taken care of.
How much do you reckon could I sell it for?
Cheers

Just to clarify about the picture, I posted.
It is the actual lens I am selling.

450 - 500 USD seems to be the going price for one in exc condition. still very underrated though and a steal!

I agree, a fine lens ... I bought mine from Matsuiya a while back in as new condition and paid around $500.00

I might be interested.

I won't suggest a price as I could be biased.

But I'm in the U.K. and could offer a quick sale for the right money (or a part-ex for a 50mm Colour Skopar). ;)

Feel free to PM me.

Bob.

usually they are sold from €200-230 private and in auction sales

The high end of 500 should include the original caps, pouch, instructions and box. At the low end of $450 should include the caps and preferably the pouch. However, nothing is carved in stone and it will go for whatever the market dictates. Maybe higher but I doubt much lower given it's build quality exceeds any current model 50/2 and image quality is within spitting distance of Leica or ZM lenses.

Seems like a great way to bypass the $5 charge for listing an item in the classifieds.

i think he is trying to ascertain the price before posting it in the classified. if he sells it in the meantime, well thats luck.

Well since the lens is listed in the classifieds, I don't think he was trying to scam the system.

Although the rules in the classifieds ask that forum threads not be started regarding sales of items in the classifieds.
