Starting bid $735. Let's see how desperately it's wanted.
I'll definitely be watching this and I'll predict close to $1500.00!

Sellers feedback is only 91.3%, very low for eBay.

I hadn't noticed that and with a big ticket item that could definitely effect the price he gets.
Two negatives in nineteen sales is not great and so far no opening bid!

It's hard to tell until the last few minutes of the auction. Often at the last minute the pro buyers use software to quickly outbid everyone else.

One bidder at the starting bid of $725. It looks like a pro buyer/seller, very active buying in the past 30 days.

If it ends at $1500, I will put mine up too.
With 220 100% feedbacks I should get even more:-)
Cheers,

You would almost certainly need to find a European buyer for that price, with the US dollar currently so weak against the Euro.

Not only that, one of the negative dings is for not shipping an item and no email communication. That's inexcusable. I doubt this will be a good measuring stick for the current value of this lens. It will definitely keep me out of the bidding.

The lens sold today at US $1081.00. The top three bids were made in the last 10 minutes of the auction.
but if I would buy from an American seller I would have to add about 25% fees/taxes for import into the EU. And this would be too expansive.
But if now anyone would sell within the EU for USD 1081.- feel free to contact me. Or import as American tourist yourself and sell afterwards ;-)

I won the auction. I too was put off by the feedback but the seller agreed to let me pick up the lens. The lens is for all intents new. There isn't a mark on it. The only other one availabe was from a european sell at $1500US.

Good for you, Felix. I'm glad it worked out. I'm now in the middle of a deal for a 100mm for US $1000, so I think the price you paid was the current going rate in the USA. Prices in Europe are bound to be higher because of the strong Euro lately.

Congratulations Felix! Let us know how it works and if the 100mm rangefinder lines on your Bronica body are accurate.
congratulations also from me!
nice to see the lens within this forum, so I hope for pics taken with it

exactly, would love to see some pics taken with it. enjoy!
I don't remember seeing any images here shot with the 100mm and I'm still yet to use mine that I picked up from B&H recently for $399.00  (thankyou god)
I may give it a run in the next day or so and post some pics as well!

great price!
why didn't this happen to me :bang:
Great price,
I bought mine for the same at KEH about 2.5 years ago. I had to do a hell of a lot of internet searching to get it though. I'm glad that it's still possible to get one so cheap.
Anybody got any photos to show?
I went out the other day with the 100mm for a drive to the rural area out the back of where I live and shot a roll of PlusX. Unfortunately that night I had a bit of brain fade and mixed my developer at the wrong ratio and wound up with over processed negatives and a lot of grain. It was also a bit tricky using the lens with the 135mm frame line that my camera has but at least now I have an idea of where it will frame ... roughly!
This shot turned out reasonably out of a not too great test roll ... f4.5 from memory!

this was at f8 or f11!

It's difficult to really tell from these web versions of these scans off course but it looks like the 65 which I really like for it's great sharpness and very nice out of focus rendering. There's a lot of depth in that first photo. Thanks for posting..
